NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT.
AA'ELLINGTON, February 2
In the North Island croquet tournament, the final round of the open chainpionship was won by incisor Richards (England), who defeated Airs Caldow 26-0, 24-26, 26-0.
ALLENTON DEFEATS TIMARU. A flag match in the Junior C Section of the competitions was played on Saturdav between Allenton and. Timaru Croquet Clulis, at Allenton, and was won by Allenton by e;*it games to one. ASSOCIATION MATCHES. In the South Central Croquet Association’s competitions two matches were played at Ashburton on Saturday, when the local club met Highfield in the C grade and Timaru Club in the A grade, being beaten in both matches by five games to four.
