SCHOOL PICNIC.
MOUNT SOMERS EXCURSION. The pupils of the Mt. Somers School were favoured with fine weather lor their annual picnic, held at ‘‘Blanc! s Wood,” Peel Forest, on Saturday, the party being, conveyed by motor ’bus. Despite the recent rains the park was surprisingly dry ; and a delight nil time was passed in hill climbing, and rambling through the bush. Refreshments were provided bv the parents, and several lolly scrambles were held. During the afternoon a sports programme was held, the results being:—
