DIFFICULTY OVER WAGES. GISBORNE. October 30. Some difficulty is understood to have aristen in connection with the Rahika s crew over the rates of pay to be received on the voyage to Wellington. An examination of the Kalnka s hull disclosed that the vessel is .sound and seaworthy, hut owing to the loss or two blades from the propeller, the vessel will be unable to make the trip to Wellington unassisted. She will be taken in tow by the Terawhiti.
