TECHNICAL GIRLS’ SPORTS. TWO RECORDS BROKEN, The annual sports of the girls of tlie Ashburton Technical Sbhool have, been m progress this week, and will be completed this afternoon. The reeoid for the hop, step and jump, which was held by Bertha Watson, was broken by Ina McLennan, who put up a new record of 291 t. In the high jump, Dorothy Gale broke her own record of 4ft. lih. by 2Jins. The second girl, Joyce Watson, cleared 4ft. 3in. Four events have yet to he decided.
