MAIL-BAGS STOLEN.
TWO OFFENCES AT DUNEDIN.
RIFLED OF THEIR CONTENTS. / (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. The postman’s overflow bag was stolen from the neighbourhood of the Columba College, Roslyn, on Wednesday morning, and rifled of its contents, being found in a stream in Kaikorai Valley yesterday morning. Another bag was stolen from the railway station and similarly maltreated in a public convenience. In each case the officials are busy piecing together the correspondence ana forwarding it to its destination. The police have arrested a man suspected of committing the offences.
