TWO PROPOSED CROSSINGS.

FRENCH AIRMEN DELAYED. NEW YORK May 26. The open season, for Atlantic flying is drawing near with the approach of summer, and two aeroplanes are now ready to leave for France.

Prospects of storms over the Atlantic necessitated the postponement, of the start of the French Bernard monoplane 191, on its proposed flight to Paris, piloted bv Rene Lefevre and Jean Assolant. 'File monoplane is equipped with a Hispano-Suiza motor and the men hope to reach Le Bourget, near Paris, in 30 hours. Roger Williams and Lewis Yancey, Americans, expect to start from Old Orchard, Maine, shortly for Rome, in a Bellanca monoplane.
