WASHINGTON, June 8. The 1929 winter wheat crop is estimated at 622,148,000 bushels, based on conditions on June 1, which were held to he 79 per cent, of normal. THE WOOL TRADE. HOME POSITION UNSATISFACTORY.

LONDON, June 8. Owing to continual industrial disputes rather than any election influence, the wool position remains most unsatisfactory. The price generally is still tending down, and manufacturers are only purchasing bare necessities. Considerable stocks are still held at Bradford and elsewhere.
