PRODUCERS’ BOARD REI-ORT.
The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cablegram from its London office, dated May 31, advising Smitlifield delivered prices averaged for thd week ended that date as follows: — New Zealand Wethers and Maidens — Canterbury quality (selected brands): 461 b and under 7d, 57-64 6d, 65-72 s£d. Other brands: 561 b and under 6 7-Bd, 57-64 5 7-Bd. ' , . N.Z. Ewes —641 b and under sd. N.Z. Lambs—Canterbury quality: 361 b and under 9sd, 37-42 8 7-Bd, 43-50 Bid: seconds 8 7-Bd. Selected brands: 361 b and under 9id, 37-42 B§d. Other brands: First quality, 361 b and under 9£d, 37-42 8 5-Bd, second quality, 30-32 average 9gd. Australian lambs.—Victorian : First quality, 361 b and under B*|d, 37-42 BJd. Argentine Lambs —First quality, 361 b and under Bd, 37-42 7£d. Argentine Chilled Beef—Ox fores 4|d, hinds 6£d. N.Z. Frozen Pork—Porkers: 60-801 b 9d, 81-99 Bid, 100-120 B*d. Baconers: 121-180 Bjd. Lamb.—The market is steady. Consumption is improving slowly. Better demand for lighter weights. Mutton.—Wethers and ewes, trade slow, market quiet. . New Zealand Porker Pigs.—Season is now at an end. Nominal prices. Baconer pigs.—There is very little inquiry, owing to lower prices of Continental bacon.

OVERSEAS QUOTATIONS. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated May 31 Butter.
New Zealand—Salted 165 sto 16fS, exceptional 168 s, unsalted 165 s to 168 s, exceptional 170 s, first whey 1565, second whey 1525. Tho price 168 s is approximately Is 4d f.o.b. ■ Australian —Finest salted 158 s to 1625, unsalted 162 s to 1645. Argentine—Finest unsalted 158 s to 1625. Irish —Creamery, salted 1625, unsalted 1665. - Danish—ls7s f.0.b., 162 s to 165 s spot Dutch—Unsalted 160 s to 1645. Estonian—lsßs to 1625. Latvian —158 s to 1625. Siberian —1545. Ukranian—ls4s to 1565. French—Baskets, salted 154s' to 164 s The market is steady, and retail prices are unchanged. Continued dry weather is caning uneasiness', and Danish butter closed 3s, and New Zealand, Australian and Irish butters 2s, above official prices. *■ Cheese.
New Zealand —White 89s to 90s, coloured 91s to 925. The price of 90s equals approximately BJd f.o.b. Canadian —White 104 s to 110 s, coloured 104 s to 108 s. Australian—White 88s, coloured 88s to 89s. . The market is quiet and retail prices are unchanged. English finest farmers cheese stocks are small, with a nominal price. The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada—Butter: New York 43 cents (Is 62); Montreal 34| cents (Is sfd). Stocks 7000 boxes, last year 10,500 boxes.
