P jfr Walter C. Bndgeman, Fust Lord of the Admiralty since 1924, who did not seek re-election at the General Election, is created a^viscount. Sir William Berry, Director of Naval Construction to the Admiralty since 1924, is created a baron. . 1 Knighthoods are conferred on Captain Brass, who accompanied Mr L. C. M S. Amery to Australia, and on Mr Francis James Wylie, of Oxford (secretary to the Rhodes Trust.) Sir Humphrey Rolleston has been created a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, and Dr. F. E. Shipway has been created a Knight Commander of the same Order, in connection with their services during his Majesty’s illness. Sir Edward- Wallington (Groom-m-Waiting to the King) has been promoted Knight Grand Cross of the Victorian Order.
