At the Economic Conference, as a result of an investigation ot what is termed the world's sugar crisis, a proposal is afoot to create an International Commission for the purpose ot stimulating consumption as an antidote to the existence of depression in the iitdustrv, as it is tacitly acknowledged that any attempt to regulate production and export by International means would, be futile.—Australian Press Association.
