THE SANDERS CUP.

OTACO WINS FIFTH RACE. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUROH, This Day.. The Sanders Cup resulted in the Eileen (Otago) being first. The Avalon (Auckland) retired after fouling another competitor. All the other entrants capsized. The fourth race, yesterday afternoon, was won by the Clyde < Wellington). The Eileen was unfortunate in just being beaten in the third and fourth races after leading the greater part of the way. The finish to the afternoon race was most exciting, the Clyde just getting across Ssec. ahead of the Eileen.

Clyde and Avalon have now two wins to their credit, and Eileen one. The first named two have to score another win to gain the trophy.
