COUNTY CENTRES

(From Our- Own HINDS. Twentv-six members of St. Luke's choir, Hinds, went out to sing carols Sn Saturday evening. They visited ?arious parts of the district and ended at Coldstream Homestead, where they were provided with supper and hot soup. The Rev. E. Hann* proposed a vote of thanks to. the drivers of the cars, to the organist and to Mt Studholme Over li 7s 6d was netted in aid of the church fund and orphanages. There was a good congregation at bt. LuWs Church on Sunday evening w£™ thfl Rev E. Hanna preached an a?pr^te R termon. Miss?. Hampton aid Mr Cairns sang "All Hail tne Bower." Miss Hampton took the solo oart in a carol. After the service several Christmas "»iifc and were much appreciated. Mrs E. w. M. Watson was organist.
