STATEMENT BY PORTER. (United Press Association—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, December 26. An inquiry into the Koowerup railway accident obtained a statement from a porter named Gow, aged 22, who, it is alleged,, admitted having pulled the wrong Tever, which caused the accident. Only four of the injured persons now remain in hospital. —Australian Press Association. A holiday train fouled the tender of a milk train on Christmas Day, the sides of five coaches being ripped out. Of the 40. injured nersons 18 were taken to hospital.
