CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION. STOREY AND AGENT-GENERAL. LONDON, September 19. After his arrest and release on a charge of murdering Frederick Charles Walters, a scrub-cutter, of Boonjie Camp, Queensland, Hubert Algar Storey visited the Queensland Agent-Gen-eral, Mr John Huxliam, and suggested that he should receive compensation for his arrest. Mr Huxham disclaimed his Government’s liability, but forwarded the application to Brisbane.
