Of this sum, the owner of Prince Humphreys (Mr Maclndoe) received the lion’s share, £6657. The jockey, J. Munro, by winning the Epsom and Derby receives in fees £4Bl. Munro lias not previously won the Derby. The weather for the races to-day is fine and mild. . A counter-attraction is the eight-liour-day celebration, with the usual trades procession, followed by sports. —Australian Press Association. accidentally left at post.
