THRILLING CHASE.
MAN IN STOLEN CAR. BADLY SHOT’ BEFORE CAPTURE. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day. 11.10 a.in.) SYDNEY, This Day. A thrilling chase by a police patrol early to-day after a motorist who had stolen a car, ended in the fugitive being shot in the face. He is now in a critical condition.
The police fired six shots wTiile travelling at a speed of 60 miles an hour Finally the fugitive abandoned the car and was climbing a fence when he was brought down by a revolver bullet.— Australian Press Association.
