ENTERTAINMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "Ben Hur" had its second screening at His Majesty's Theatre last night, and there was a full house. There was none to find fault with the production and the patrons left the theatre convinced that the picture, in theme and presentation, is one of the loftiest yet seen in Ashburton. In the prologue, Mr S. Bissett sung the "Star of Bethleham." Madame Cadzow's music was again a feature of the evening. "Ben Hur" will be shown tonight, and finally to-morrow night with a matinee in the afternoon.
