WORK OF TfiE CHURCHES. CONFERENCE AT JERUSALEM. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) JERUSALEM, March 25. An International Missionary Council has opened at the former Government House, on the Mount of Olives. It is attended by 230 delegates, representing 56 countries.
Dr. John R. Mott, in his opening address, said the result of the meeting should lie such a blending of the older Churches of the West with the younger Churches in the East in mutual work as had never previously been achieved.
