NEW ZEALAND AUTOGRAPHS. BAT SOLD FOR ORPHANAGE. (Press Association —Copyright.) s (Received This Day, 10.200 a.m.). LONDON. January 29. The cricket bat autographed by the New Zealanders in 1927 realised 55 guineas for the benefit of the Queen Alexandra orphanage at Hampstead. The highest bidder was Sir Edgar Bowring, who is presenting the bat to the Orphanage Cricket Club.
