IMPORTATION FROM AUSTRALIA. COMPLAINT AGAINST BOUNTY. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9,45 a.m.) OTTAAVA, January 26. An early debate in the Dominion House of Commons on the Australian Treaty is expected following an attack yesterday by the President of the Dairymen’s Association f of Manitoba, who said large quantities of Australian butter at the winter price made Canadian competition difficult. The increase in the bountv enabled the Australian product to lie delivered at A 7 ancouver at cheap rates. Transportation cost, three cents a pound, the total cost beinir 36 cents a pound. The transportation cost to Prairie producers, three, cents., made competition on a paritv. The Speech from the Throne, however, contained no reference to tlie subject.
