N.Z. BAND CONTEST.

COMPETITORS FROM ASHBURTON.

Several members of the Ashburton Silver Band will take part in the Dominion Band Contest, to be held at'Christchurch. The intending competitors are: B Flat Cornet Solo (championship and amateur): Messrs H. Osborne, G. Hansen, E. Flatman and Teale. Flugal Horn Solo: Mr C. Frew. Tenor Horn Solo: Mr T. Miller. Baritone S'olo: Messrs Carter and Buckley. Etiphonium Solo: Mr Hall. Double B Flat (Bass): Mr CrammondL It is practically certain that the Band will not take part in the Quartette Section.
