The plans for a pilgrimage' of exservicemen to France are definitely taking shape. The Empire Service League is taking over the Dominions section.-;• " . The secretary (Captain Simons) anticipates at least 1000. men from the Dominions, of whom 300 will be Australians and 150 New Zealanders. He emphasises that the pilgrimage will fee open not only to members of Returned * Soldiers' Leagues, but also to all exservice men. The cost, once they arrive in England, will not be more than £5each. He also* points out that exseivicemen, on holiday) in Europe at the time should take advantage of the opportunity of taking part. Earl Haig will head the pilgrimage, and other notable soldiers are expected! to be present. The tour will end with. a march past the Menin Gate ont August 8.
