A full meeting of representatives of ifce South and West Yorkshire, Nottmghamshire, and Derbyshire Coal Owners' Assotfations was held in Sheffield yesterday, for the further consideration of the coal marketing scheme -which the ooal-owners propose to put into force. After the meeting it was announced that a scheme was being formally constituted. Already other districts are making, approaches for admission to the seheme. There is a prospect that -eventually the whole -of the Midland <:*oal-field, including Lancashire, will be included within it. It is stated that an important development may therefore be expected in tie near future.
