MISSING WOMAN'S BODY FOUND. (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, This Day. A bodv, subsequently identified tobe that of Mrs Frances Theodora As- - pinall, Avho disappeared from Timaru on July 23 last, was found on Saturday on the bench at Milford, about two miles north of the mouth of the Opihi River. ; ; ", The body was removed to the morgue - at Temuka. Mrs Aspinall was the wife of Mr W. G Aspinall, a retired solicitor, of Temuka, andNvas a well-known figure m South Canterbury. . The inquest was. opened at LemuKa yesterday before the District Coroner, . Mr C. R, Orr Walker. . Evidence as to discovering the body was given bv William Lunn. • Givy Aspinall stated that he identified the body-to be that of his stepmother, Francis Theodora Aspinall. . He identified her by the wearing apparel and the shoes, which were stilt upon her feet. _ Cross-examined by Sergeant Dwan witness stated he further identified the body by the peculiar-shaped ankles. He had conversed with her on the • Thursdav before she was missed, and i she was' apparently in her usual mood.
