VOYAGES IN THE AIR, GERMAN AIRSHIP SCHEME. DAILY CROSSING PROPOSED. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) BERLIN, January 13. Two representatives of the Rumpler Aircraft Works have gone to America with a view to forming a company to carry out a trans-Atlantic Aeroplane Service by means of Humpler Giant all-metal flying boats, which have a wing spread of 282 feet, and are equipped with 10 SOO-horse power motors, capable of a speed of 160 miles an hour. It is predicted that they will regularly cross every 24 hours, carrying 130 passengers and a crew of 35. It is estimated that the fare will be £75. The route will be via the Azores and Newfoundland.
