i Per Press Association*! HAMILTON, January 13J. A well-known local resident* - Mrs? John Hembert Hawes of Central Street, Matamata, was found, dead in the washhouse of her home yesterday. At the inquest the District Coroner, (Mr Barr Brown) returned a verdict that deceased met her death by being, drowned in a tub of water, and that the evidence was not sufficient to show how she got into the water. Mrs Hawes is survived by a husband, and two children.
