REMARKABLE ESCAPE.

FALL FROM THIRD STOREY. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. F. Dynes, 14 years of age. an employee at Aulsebrook and Co.'s, fell down a lift well from a third-storey floor yesterday morning, but escaped with minor injuries to hi 9 ankle. Dynes was) taking a waggon of biscuits to a lower floor, and opened the door of the life well at the third landing, pushed his waggon through, and slipped in. There was no lift there. From the third floor he crashed on to the top of the elevator which was at the ground floor. The waggon was smashed to pieces.
