INFANT DROWNEET IN CREEK. MASTERTGOS:, .This Day. Frank Basil Ryder, infant son of Mr J. Ryder, of Masterton, was drowned in a creek yesterday afternoon. He was left playing on grass and must have crawled down the bank into'the stream. FATAL FALL FRCTM: BUILDING. WELLINGTON, January 10. Mr Leslie Boonuda, a plumber, aged' 28, residing at Daniel died at the hospital to-day as the result of injuries received through falling off the' roof of the 2YA Broadcasting- Com--pany's studio in Featherston Street. Deceased was working on the building when the accident happened. He wairtaken to the hospital where he wasfound to be suffering from internaL injuries. BOY FALLS OVER A CLIFF. CHRISTCHTJRCH, January 10. Through falling down a 40 feet cliff r ~ to the roadway below, at Scarborough, Sumner, to-day, Magnus Hay, aged received bad injuries to his head.
