BOWLING. / TOURNAMENT OPENS. (Per Press Association ) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Fifteenth Dominion Championship Bowling Tournament was opened this; morning, and will continue until Saturday, January 21. About -SCO bowlers will take part, nearly half ot these being from other parts of New Zealand. The tournament was officially opened bv Mr A. J. Benzie (president of New Zealand Association), and the DeputyMayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan), at the Canterbury 'Headquarters) Green. Singles play was commenced, and will continue to-morrow. The weather is Ideal.
