Lechner (Bordug.’) 436 i»&vks, 2 ; FloreritsJ- E; • Smith 4 (Efe gin), 435 marks 3. Fire Brigade Demonstration.—Captain T. Barber, Assistant Engineer J. Rule, Branchman J. Down and Firemen J. W. Stephens, Nicholl, and Hilgrove, left ‘ by the express' 4 last 1 evening’, to take part in the demonstration ol Fire Brigades in which the Canterbury Brigades are* competing i&- Christchurch to-morrow.
