HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS. FORTHCOMING TOURS. Two Rugby teams representing the AshburtonTEigh School went toTimaru to-day to try conclusions with the Timaru High School teams in their annual matches. The teams, which were were in charge of Mr P. Seyb, will return this evening. A hockey team and one of basketball will travel to Rangiora to-morrow to play matches with the High School there, and will return on Thursday.

They will bo in" the charge of Miss M. Morrison. The three A teams representing tho School's hockey, basketball and football sports will leave Ashburton next Tuesday to play at Gore. 1 They will be under the supervision of Miss I. Duff, Miss E. Pigott, and Mr R. H. respectively, and will return to Ashburton on the following Thursday. DAVIS CUP CONTESTS. (Per Press Association—Copvnght.) VANCOUVER, August 1.
