LANDLORDS IMPRISONED. (Per Press Association—'Copyright.) MILAN, July 31. Magistrates are dealing firmly with landlords who do not comply with the Government decree regarding rents. Several property - owners at Turin, Trieste, and Parma have been sentenced to long terms of detention owing to I the resistance to the new law. Disputes between landlords and tenants are daily increasing, and reached 30,000 in Milan and 17,000 in Turin. Reductions were in many instances granted amounting to from 50 per cent, of the rent paid. Great crowds blocked the Milan courtyard during the present appeals by tenants.
