OLD PEOPLE IN AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 14. The toll of winter among the aged, is always heavy, even in Auckland's milder clime. Many people live to great age in the north and the number who have reached the stage of the "sere and viellow Leaf" is swelled by southerners who retire to Auckland to spend their declining years. Yesterday morning the death notices of eight who had passed the allotted span of three score years and ten included two nonagenarians and four octogenariatis. The united ages totalled 666, or an average of 83.
