THE WEATHER.

ELEVEN DEGREES OF FROST. Eleven degrees of frost were recorded at the weather station at the Domain this morning, compared with eight yesterday. Ice was much in evidence on the roads, and the ponds in the Domain bore a crust over a quarter ot an inch thick in parts. Conditions today were warm and clear, after the effects of the frost disappeared under bright sunshine. The barometer, at 9 o'clock, stood at 30.1 inches, as against 30.2 inches yesterday. The maximum and minimum temperatures for the period were 50 and 25 degrees respectively, compared with 43 and 37 on Monday. OFFICIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast was issued to-day:— Indications are for variable and moderate breezes, westerly moderate winds prevailing. There is a prospect of fine weather, with days bright and nights cold. There will probably be a hard frost to-night. Barometer little movement.
