The annual meeting of the Otautau Racing Club was held to-day on the Southland Racing Club’s course at Invercargill, which was in a very heavy state. There was a good attendance. The totalisator handled £10,135 10s, against £9776 10s last year, when the meeting was held at Otautau. Results Crown Stakes Handicap, of 80 sovs; six furlongs—l Last Thought 1,2 Grand Eclat 2, 3 Lady Balboa 3. Won by a nose ; six lengths between second and third. Time, 1.22 3-5. Bayswater Trot Handicap (in saddle), of 97 sovs; * one mile and a half —7 Logathete 1, 5 Cloverly 2, 8 Miss Adonis 3. Won. by two lengths; five lengths between second and third. Time, 3.49 4-5. Otautau Cup, of 175 sovs: one mile and a quarter—s Cupidon 1. 1 Full Swing 2, 6 Parader 3. Won by three lengths; a similar distance between second and third. Time, 2.18 2-5. Ringway Hack Handicap, of 80 sovs; five furlongs—2 Frivol 1, 5 Spean Bridge 2, 1 Schottische 3. Won by two and a half lengths; three lengths between second and third. Time, 1.7.
