ANOTHER HOLIDAY.
REQUEST OF DUKE AND DUCHESS (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, April 6. Hie Governor-General has received the following telegram from his. Royal Highness the Duke of York: "The Duchess and I hope very much that every school in New Zealand may be given an extra holiday at Easter to commemorate our visit.—(Signed) Albert."
His Excellency has replied to the following effect: "Your Royal Highnesses'' kind thought for the children is deeply appreciated' by the Government and people of New Zealand. The Government is communicating with the Boards of Education and other controlling authorities, with a view to giving effect to 'your Royal Highnesses' wishes."
