GODFREY’S VAUDEVILLE-TO-NIGHT.
Vaudeville distinctly novel to Ashburton theatre-goers will be presented at the Theatre Royal to-night when Godfrey’s Celebrity Vaudeville Company will make its initial appearance in Ashburton. This town is seldom visited by such a talented Company and it would be quite safe to predict a capacity house. From the moment the Company appears on the stage to the time it leaves, the audience is held spellbound., The acts comprise somersaulting ohi a wire, contortionism, and several acrobatic features.
