CRICKET. TIN WALD DEFEATS METHVEN. In the Ashburton County Cncket Association’s competition tne Tinwald and Methven junior teams met at Methven on Saturday. Owing to short notice of the match being played at Methven instead of at Tinwald the ground was not in the best of order, otherwise the scores would no doubt have been higher.
