CONDITION OF INJURED.

(Per Press Association,)' CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Encouraging reports were given last night regarding the condition of the occupants of the service car which ran. over a bank near Omihi on Tuesday morning. The three in the Christchurch Hospital—Mrs Martha Annie Nelson, of Richmond (Nelson); Miss Elsie Elizabeth Cleary, of Symonds Street, Auckland; and Mrs Doris Flood, of Grafton Street, Auckland —show a considerable improvement, and cannot be regarded as in a serious condition.

Mrs Tonge and Mr Taylor, who were taken to the Waikari Hospital, were reported yesterday to have spent. ai comfortable night, and were showing improvement. The driver of the car, Mr Charles Raymond Mitchell, of 22 Grafton; Street, Limvood, is still subject t© shock, but a few days’ rest will see him back to normal.
