FOUR SURVIVORS.
LOSS OF THE EUGENE SCHNEIDER (Per Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, December 27. There are four survivors from the French barque Eugene Schneider, which was sunk by the steamer Burutu on the last stage of a, 77 days’ journey from Manokuarii. The collision: was startlingly \ sudden.. The barque was struck amidships and sank in two minutes. The survivors jumped on to the deck of the Burutu, in the nick of time.
