LABOUR AMENDMENT LOST. (Per Press 'Association—Copyright.) LONDON, March 30. In the House of Commons, the Labour amendment in favour of the rejection of the Electricity Bill, and urging nationalisation, was lost by 325 votes to 127. The Bill was read a second time. After the rejection of a proposal to refer it to a select committee, Labour voted with the Ministry.
