While 3000 sheep were trayeKing by road near Cootamble Ahey were joaught by flood waters from :the Castlereagn River and with the exception ot SOO or 300 all were drowned. The remainder are still hogged. 'The sheep were an -exceptionally good lot of year-old owes. Other smaller losses of stock through are reported from different parte „of the district.
