(Per Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.35' a.m.) LONDON, February 16. The Roman Catholic Bishop of Nottingham has banned all public amusements during Lent, including dancing and visits to music halls, theatres, and cinemas.

The Bishop says the chief danger to which all people are exposel is worldlinessv. This is manifested in the eager desire for pleasure, such, as dancing, theatres, pictures, cards, and games of aill sorts, which, though excellent as an occasional recreation, are unfortunately apt to become positive dangers.
