CHARGE OF INFANTICIDE
SINGLE WOMAN ARRESTED. (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Feb. 15. A single woman, aged 22, a domestic servant, was arrested and charged this afternoon that on. or about January 19, at Palmerston North, she did murder her infant daughter. She had been a resident of Palmerston North for some months, coming from the Auckland district * A remand was granted till Februaiy 17, hail being fixed at self £oo, and one surety: of a like amount. _ I The Bench ordered the suppression ot accused’s name in the meantime.
