AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. AUCKLAND, Dec. 29. The second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting was held in brilliant weather, and with a.n excellent attendance. The track was in good OTdor, the going being hard, lhe Investments on the totahsator were £81.329, compared with £83,32 10s on the corresponding day last year. This year there were only seven races, as against eight last year. Concluding results: — Summer Cup, of 1400 sovs; one mile and a-quarter .—The Thorn 1, Fools Paradise 2, Royal Divorce 3. MANAWATU RACING CLUB. PALMERSTON NORTH, Dec 28. The Manawatu Racing Club concluded a most successful meeting with a large attendance. The investments on the totalisator were £36,202, compared with "£35,932 on the third day last year the total for the meeting being £141,568, or £17,580 more than last year. i Concluding results: — Liverpool Handicap, of 600 sovs; one mile and a furlong.—Grand Knight 1, Tanadees 2, Imperial Spark 3.
