BIG JUMP AT CHICAGO. (Received This Day, 2.25 p.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 29. Chicago wheat quotations are:—December, new, 189 cents a bushel, old 187; May, new 185, old 182; July, 155. Jumping as much as seven cents a bushel, vvheat prices at Chicago on Tuesday established high records for the season, following Mr H. C. Hoover’s comment at ‘Washington that if the United States sold wheat in exchange for British rubber the price, based on the ratio of cost of production, would be eight dollars a bushel.
