The Queensland Executive of the Australian Labour Party dealt with the position of members who have not signed tlie anti-Communist pledge, and decided that every member of the executive be required to sign it, and any member refusing to comply should not lie allowed to retain his seat on. the executive. All members except Messrs Moroney and Rymer signed the pledge, and these two, who represent the Railway Union, were expelled from the executive.
