KILLED BY A LORRY
TEN YEAR OLD GIRL'S DEATH. HEAD CRUSHED UNDER WHEEL. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Betty Harty, aged ten, daughter of Mrs Harty, a widow, of Point Chevalier, when alighting from a 'bus at St. Joseph's Convent ScTiool, slipped, and was run over by a City Council lorry, driven by E. H. Peters. Her head was crushed, and life was extinct when she was picked up.
