J MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING. THE WESTERFIELD CLUB. The Westerfield Miniature Rifle Club on Wednesday evening fired for a second trophy presented by Mr W A the following tied with their handicaps :—G. Fechney (3) 33, J McCann (4) 33, G. McKie (3) 32. 'Mick" Laffey (4) 32, G. Arnold (4) 32 T "Ferguson (3) 32, D. Allen (5) 32, Martin Laffey (o) 31, G. Morse (3) 32, and W Lowery (5) 31. The scores for two shootoffs were: Fechney 32-32, Allen 30-31, Morse 32-32. The final will be fired tomorrow evening. W. Lowery won Mr Sheat's first trophy. , J - McCann and G. Fechney tied for the botty button with 33 and in the final Fechney won. Good scores in practice were: J. Lowery 35, t. Ferguson 34, A. Lill 32 D. Allen 33, G. Fechney 33, C. Morse 33„ o.nd A. Nicholson 30. THE LYNNFORD CLUB. There was some very good scoring at. the Lynnford Miniature Rifle Club's last week's shoot. L. A. Noble won the hotty button, with a possible. The final for a trophy presented by Mr G. S. Chapman was won by J. Mclxrnis, after a keen contest. A trophy presented by Mr A. Moore was- won the* previous week by N. Bauerle.
