FIRE AT TECHNICAL SCHOOL

WOODWORK DEPARTMENT BURNED. (Per Press Association .1 TIMARU, This Day. The Fire- Brigade shortly after 4 o'clock this morning received a call to the Technical School, where the woodwork department, owned by the Education Board, and containing much valuable machinery and timber, was in flames. The fire had a strong hold and as it was* impossible to save the building the brigade concentrated its efforts in preventing the flames spreading to the adjoining premises.
